The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund approved the disbursement of $375 million on concessional terms to Uzbekistan to mitigate the negative economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic. These funds will be used to replenish the Anti-Crisis Fund.

Today is #InternationalMuseumDay so here are my three favourite museums in Uzbekistan: Termez Archeological Museum; the Savitsky Museum in Nukus; and the Applied Arts Museum in Tashkent. Three very different buildings with very different collections, but all superb.
